Wedding Photography Fuses with Style in Rochester
With all the different styles of wedding photography popular today, it can be challenging for engaged couple’s looking for a wedding photographer to know which style to choose. When Canal Town Photo is hired to photograph your wedding day, your photos will be a combination of different photography styles. Case in point; Sarah & Derek, a bride and groom from Rochester NY. Their wedding photos ended up being a mix of candid, artistic, and photojournalism style photography. The day’s photography began at the bride’s parents home with a mix of candid & formal shots of Sarah getting ready for the ceremony. The groomsmen were my next victims at St. Lawrence Church in Rochester, followed by a ton of candid shots of the wedding ceremony. We took off to Lakeshore Country Club right after the ceremony to take more formal and not-so-formal style photos on the grounds of the golf course before Sarah & Derek’s wedding reception. My wedding photography is all about the once-in-a-lifetime events you take part in on your wedding day, from your wedding ceremony, to your first dance, through your cake cutting. But it’s also about catching all those little moments, the glances and the interactions that happen “in-between it all” that really capture you as a newlywed couple. A few of my favorite moments from Sarah & Derek’s day are below.
